Little girls are loving Princess Atelia..

Before I self published Princess Atelia and the Wishing Star, I would often tell the story to little children and they always loved the story. Well, this time I actually had pictures to go along with it. Their eyes were so big when they saw the cover of the book. They told me that she was really pretty. Most importantly, the children understood the message of the book. Without me asking questions after the story was read, one little girl said she knows what I was trying to teach them "that you don't have to be pretty like someone else to be a princess". That was her interpretation of Princess Atelia and the Wishing Star. They also were arguing about who gets to look at the book alone first. Though arguing is not the best way to get what you want, I felt good knowing they still took interest after I read it.

Can you guess what their favorite page is lol?

Early stages of Princess Atelia

This was one of the early drawing of Princess Atelia. Though it's still a nice picture, I wanted her to be more appealing to a child's eye.

Thanks for the support!

So far I have been marketing my book on my own since September and the love, support, and advice I've been getting from people somewhat in the literary world has been so overwhelming. Thanks to everyone for their kind words. My goal now is to find representation from an agent or publicist. I want to reach a bigger audience and want the world to know of Princess Atelia.
