I treat this project as my baby lol. This is something I sought out to do and I'm doing it. It's my thoughts and my ideas. I have worked for others for many years (and currently doing so), but this is something that I created and control, such a wonderful feeling. I hope the joy that I get from reading this story, others will feel the same way.

Being that this book was written years ago, I'm super excited to see everything coming into place. It's been a work in progress and still is. I've had some personal setbacks, but I will NOT stop until I reach my final goal, which is to get my book published and in stores for everyone to purchase.

Ever since I was young, writing has always been one of my favorite hobbies. From short stories, songs, movie scripts, you name it. I wrote Princess Atelia and The Wishing Star (Not an ordinary Princes Tale), about four years ago, long before I heard of Disney's Princess Tiana. I wanted to represent a princess of color who was also a little girl, facing problems that little girls deal with. However, Princess Atelia and The Wishing Star (Not an Ordinary Princess Tale), like the title says, is not an ordinary princess story. It touches on gender issues, self esteem, and confidence, in a fun and entertaining way. This story would be a great addition to every child's library.
